We remember when new devices from Palm used to make a bit of a splash, nowadays it's more of a ripple...

boygeniusreport.com have posted a couple of images for a model they are calling the Treo 850, claiming it to have 100MB of RAM and a 400Mhz processor, the button on the side seems to indicate Wifi as well.

With everyone making Treo shaped Windows Mobile devices (or so it seems) do we really need another? Palm seems to think so

Although not exactly a secret for quite some time RIM have officially announced the Blackberry Bold (aka 9000).

The specifications are pretty good:

• tri-band HSDPA
• GPS
• Wi-Fi
• 624MHz mobile processor
• 1GB of memory
• 128MB of Flash
• microSD/SDHC memory card slot.
• 2 Megapixel camera
• 480x320 screen resolution

OK, does this make any sense to anyone?

By all best estimates the the 3G version of the iPhone is still a couple of months away and they are no longer selling the current model, now I don't know about you but that doesn't seem like good business practise.

macrumours.com are speculating that the 3G iPhone is due sooner than everyone expected, it certainly a possibility as I can't see it being good for Apple that if your mobile phone contract is up for renewal this week you can't actually buy an iPhone, it's sending customers to Nokia.

Apple are, as ever, keeping us guessing...

Want a new iPhone in the UK? Well you can't have one... Well not from O2 at least.

This image now greets visitors to the O2 site, now we are assuming that O2 haven't lost the contract to supply the iPhone so this is probably an indication that they let stocks run out in preparation of the 3G iPhone launch.

A little more information on the site might have been wise.

If you are desperate to get your hands on one then they still appear to available at the Apple site although Berble's recommendation is to wait a little longer, the 3G version is coming...

Kevin Michaluk at crackberry.com was mad brave enough to send £420GBP (~ $828USD) through the ether to a (quickly withdrawn) eBay auction which was advertising a pre-release Blackberry 9000, amazingly enough it appears to have been delivered.

He has given a few first impressions and is promising a full review soon.

It struck us as strange that there's not been much talk about viewing your home remotely on your iPhone. It's a subject thats not been discussed much and when we went looking for a list of cameras that's supported by the device and what did we find...

French blog site iPhon.fr have published pictures of what they are calling the iPhone 2.

Is this the 3G iPhone?

The images do conform to the recent rumours on size and colour although I'm finding it difficult to believe someone would have allowed these pictures to be taken if they did have a genuine 3G iPhone in their hands, but you can never tell...

The Boy Genius have published pictures of a previously unseen Blackberry clamshell design.

Looks like it's styling is based on the Blackberry Pearl, using a similar SureType keyboard and trackball.
