![]() An update to the iPhone and iPod touch was made available via iTunes yesterday. Version 1.1.4 just seems to be a general bug fix release, both the Berble iPhones updated smoothly without loss of information... Initial reports are that the SMS bug has been fixed. We noticed on 1.1.3 that Safari closed the contents of additional pages frequently, resulting in a loss of forward/back navigation positions and forcing a reload when the page was selected. So far this has not happened on 1.1.4 unless lots of big pages are opened, exactly as it should be.Some people had problems with bluetooth devices under 1.1.3 and this too seems to have been addressed. While 1.1.4 hasn't been an exciting release it seems to have been a necessary one, a few bugs crept into the 1.1.3 release and needed to be addressed, generally the iPhone seems to be a bit snappier, back to pre 1.1.3 performance. |
